Tenant FAQ

How do I pay rent? +
Rent payment details are outlined in your lease agreement. Contact Parm directly at 604-787-2847 or parmdhillon74@gmail.com if you have questions about your payment method.
How do I submit a maintenance request? +
Use the maintenance request form above. For urgent issues (no heat, flooding, gas smell), call Parm directly at 604-787-2847 immediately rather than using the form.
How much notice do I need to give before moving out? +
Notice requirements are outlined in your lease agreement. In general, BC and Alberta tenancy law requires a minimum of one full rental period's notice (typically one month). Check your lease or contact Parm to confirm.
Can I have a pet? +
Pet policies vary by property and are specified in your lease. If you'd like to add a pet after move-in, contact Parm first to discuss. Do not bring a pet without written approval — it may affect your damage deposit.
When will my damage deposit be returned? +
Damage deposits are returned in accordance with BC or Alberta tenancy law (depending on your province). In most cases this is within 10–15 days of the end of the tenancy, minus any legitimate deductions. Doing a thorough move-out clean and taking photos helps ensure a smooth return.
Can I sublet my unit? +
Subletting requires written approval from Parm. Contact him directly before making any arrangements with a subtenant.
Who is responsible for yard maintenance and snow removal? +
For most houses, tenant is responsible for yard maintenance and snow removal as outlined in the lease. Basement suites may differ. Check your lease agreement for specifics.
What do I do if there's a noise complaint or neighbor issue? +
Contact Parm directly and explain the situation. We take these concerns seriously and will address them promptly and professionally.
